What to expect in training:
Tuesday focus – Jump training/Strength/Conditioning
Jump training – learn proper jumping and landing techniques while also improving explosiveness and power.
Strength – Focus will be on learning and perfecting the fundamentals of movements like squats, lunges, push-ups, planks ect, while also improving overall strength. Additional or added weight outside of body weight will be minimal with dumbbells, kettlebells or medicine balls.
Thursday focus- Speed/Agility/Conditioning
Speed training-will focus on the breakdown of sprint techniques through fundamental drills and straight sprints.
Agility training – Will focus on improving the ability to change directions quickly while maintaining speed, working cone drills.
Conditioning– could be completed through HIIT training on strength days or running drills on speed/agility days.
EVERYDAY weekday, during cool down, we’ll talk a little bit about character building. Things like Mental Toughness, Courage, Sportsmanship, Work Ethic, Integrity ect
